My name is Michelle C. Robinson and I am currently a single biological mother of two young adult children and a mentor to over 50 young adults mostly single mothers.
I felt the need to create Beloved Daughters Foundation International TCI Chapter when I met young single mothers who were in my church and community. I realized that the challenges I encountered as a young single mother they are now facing. From this arose the desire to mentor them, in this season of my life.
As I began this mentorship, I communicated what I was doing to friends and my church family. With all the events I organized/carried out with the mothers and their children, among donations received were food, clothing, toys, and school tablets. I also created a network of co-minded persons who wanted to support Beloved Daughters by including them on their distribution list for needed items. These persons have now become board members.
Through the assistance of others, numerous programs and events were put on that were mentally uplifting. These events caused them to celebrate life, to feel empowered and allowed them to grow spiritually. With this knowledge now available to them they can now find it easier to navigate the avenues of assisted family government programs afforded to them.
This is my start to changing my community and country.
